Very disappointed in the hotel
The hotel merely catered to British Package Deal Tourists to the detriment of other guests. We were not allowed to eat in the dining room at a time we wanted to because of some gala for those package deal British tourists. Everything was catered to those on package deal tours. We would not stay there again. Very disappointed.

Peaceful Spot Away from the Mayhem
The hotel manages to maintain a peaceful charm in its own picturesque grounds considering the proximity of the main road. The hotel itself is a little run down in places but we had a comfortable air conditioned room with a very large bathroom and two balconies. The pool area is very quiet with a poolside snack bar which serves good food. The breakfasts were ok, the hot food was never very hot but there was a good continental selection. The hotel is located well out of Sorrento centre and as mentioned in other reviews the main road is constantly rammed with traffic and it is not a very pleasant 20 minute walk with all the fumes and muck. The hotel runs a shuttle in/out of Sorrento with 4 trips each way with a good spread of timings. Alternatively there is a bus stop just down the road at 1 euro each way, taxis are very expensive. Sant’Agnello doesnt have much to offer but there is a nice cafe/bar just to the right of the hotel entrance called the Tourism Bar (not a great name).
Traveller's tip on dining
Would definitely recommend heading into Sorrento to eat, some nice restuarants in the main square and in the old town mostly reasonably priced.
