Pushka Inn

The Pushka Inn is an ideal place for rest and work combining both luxurious 18th century architecture with all modern conveniences International travellers expect. The Hotel building is an architectural monument of the 18th century. The hotel is located on the famous Moika River and only a one-minute walk from the Hermitage and Palace Square. Some of the rooms have a magnificent view onto the Moika River. The Pushka Inn is a small European Hotel (35 rooms) right on St. Petersburg's Palace Square and Moika River. The hotel is a unique combination of history and modern confort. Spectacularly situated in the heart of St. Petersburg, within minutes from numerous cultural and historical attractions.

Absolutely superb!

This was our third stay at the Pushka Inn and year on year it just keeps getting better. Everything about this mini-hotel is top standard - the friendly help at reception, security, cleanliness, furnishing and housekeeping of the room, the restaurant and bar staff, just cannot be faulted. The location of the hotel is the icing on the cake. Located on the river bank of the Moika only a stones throw from Palace Square and the Hermitage Museum and a short walk around the corner to a great souvenir market and the fabulous Church on Spilled Blood. And if shopping is your thing only a couple of minutes walk to Nevsky Prospekt, St Petersburg’s Champs-Élysées. Very secure feeling area and not as much traffic around the hotel as in many other areas of central St Petersburg. The hotel offers many services, from Visa assistance, excursions, show ticket enquiries and airport taxi collection. Guests also get a 20% discount in the hotel bar and restaurant on all drinks and food. I would recommend a stay here without hesitation.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Contact the hotel prior to your arrival at the airport and arrange taxi collection. The hotel taxi service is up to 3 times cheaper than what the taxi drivers at the airport will try to charge. It also avoids having to haggle a price in Russian with a driver who is trying to drag your luggage to his car without your agreement! The taxi charge is added to your hotel bill.
