One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at!
We visited Berlin in September 2009 and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. My husband and I were very impressed with everything regarding the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. We did not eat at any of the hotel restaurants but did have drinks in the hotel bar and I enjoyed the mixed drinks especially the mojito.

Good value hotel if at reduced rate
This 5-star hotel feels more like a 4-star hotel. I booked it because of the special reduced rate offered. The bathroom was very small, the wardrobes were without doors and the desk without a drawer. One big plus point: it is centrally located with shops, restaurants, entertainment and train station.

Excellent location, classy modern decor
We stayed in a business room for one night. Our room had a gorgeous view of the river and Berlin Cathedral. Room was nice, clean, and cool, with really nice decor. We weren’t used to the half-door on the tub/shower, and found that there was some splashing on the floor, but had also found this in other hotels in Europe, so maybe that’s just the style. Staff were really really nice and friendly. Not all concierge staff had good knowledge of public transit options from the hotel. Buffet breakfast was beautifully presented, included with the cost of a business class room.
