Great value central location
We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2008 and had a very enjoyable stay. Its a modern hotel (maybe a year or two old), centrally located yet the room seemed very sound proof. You wont get much of a view given its position down a narrow street in the old town surrounded by tall old buildings, but we could just about see the sea, and got a lovely sea breeze. The room itself was very clean, with a big modern bathroom, comfortable beds and tea and coffee making facilities: quite a luxury in a foreign hotel not aimed at English tourists! Id recommend walking to the Playa Victoria beach - about 2 miles around the coastline (or a no. 7 bus) - for a lovely expanse of beach. You can watch the surfers along the way! If you want a beachside location, then the Playa Victoria Hotel is your best bet, but for a central location the Spa Senator Cadiz Hotel couldnt be better.
If hoping to get the airport bus to Jerez, please note that they do not run very often at the weekends. We ended up catching the train to Jerez (about 3 euros, 45 minutes) then a taxi to the airport (16 euros, 15 minutes). We then had the usual ?Ryanair experience?, which made for an interesting end to the holiday!!
