Nice stay
The building was historical, of course a little squeeky with the floors, but that is expected in a building that old. The rooms were very well appointed including some amenities not ordinarily offered to guests. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast while small was nice, fresh and varied each day (they even accommodated a non-egg eater like myself). While my husband would classify it more as a snack, it was nice not to have to worry about where to grab breakfast first thing in the morning. Afternoon wine/appz were great too. Very pretty building, it was obvious the owner/s put alot of time revamping the building. Easy location to find and quite convenient to downtown Ashville locales. I would definately recommend to others.

Quite and Comfortable
The hotel was really nice to come to after spending the day working. It was especially relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy the wine and snacks. A perfect place if you enjoy feeling like your at home.

Its better than just the best deal for the money.
Its an upscale yet rustic and warm B&B without all the cramping. Rooms are private and the staff is helpful and polite. The Anne was actually the best part of our Asheville visit. We were let down by the town itself. Please move to Philly Princess Anne? M

Ashvilles little gem
The ambiance was charming. The guest suite was roomy, comfortable and well appointed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They made excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Biltmore Estate tickets purchased after 3:00pm, allows free entrance the following day. The audio-tour is a nice option for first time visitors.

I Loved it, but would not recommend it to everyone
It is a beautiful hotel with very personal, exceptional service and absolutely exquisite breakfasts. For me this was the perfect mix of the personal attention of a bed and breakfast, combined with the privacy of a larger hotel. We were there during the week only and despite their claim of a scaled down presentation for breakfast it was a really delicious, beautifully presented, and in a beautiful dining room. Keep in mind, it is an old building, that makes noise, has un even floors, etc - charm to some -detraction to others. While there are many modern amenities, our couch on the small side, the tv was small, the elevator is a little scary and the internet connection was off more than on. It really was a wonderful stay and I only point out our negatives so that you can decide if these things specific things are important to you or not.
