Great place to stay!
These are great little apartments that are only ten minutes from the beach. We rented a car for ease of travel but taxis are also available. The beaches are public but you’ll need to buy day passes from hotels or rent chairs from vendors if you want umbrellas and chairs and access to bathrooms on the beach and such, but it’s wayyy cheaper to do this than stay at a high rise hotel on the beach. Barbara is very welcoming and accommodating!

Aruba Harmony Apartments is not a good place to stay.
Access to the apartments is difficult as front gate lock is old and your key can jam in the lock as mine did requiring a locksmith to remove it. Rooms do not have telephones (not so nice if you need a taxi). The apartments are one mile plus from downtown Oranjestad. Bathrooms have no soap. A $100 (US) security deposit is required. You’ll be charged more if you run your air conditioner too long.

Posted: 4-Sep-09Dear guest, Thank you for your time to write a review. Hereby we would like to make some things clear. Because of the special rate for accommodation, we ask the guest to switch off the air co when the guest is not in the room. If the Air conditioning is left on the entire time, we will add a surcharge. Harmony is an ECCO resort, we are saving our environment. In regards to free hotel services, Wi Fi, soap, phone etc are for free use upon request. As written on the Expedia site, A security deposit of $ 100 is refundable when the room is left in normal condition, without missing or broken inventory in the accommodation and resort. When checking in, guests are informed about damages on our inventory, also on broken or damaged keys. When the guests are late and had a party, Harmony can not be held for broken keys. Our resort is new and very well maintained as well as our locks and keys. Harmony is located just between the beaches and down town, there is as a bus stop right on the corner. A walk to down town will take about 9 minutes. If are some things not clear, please be so kind to inform the management IMMEDIATELY, so we can do something while the guest is in the house. It’s difficult do clear up the situation, when the guest has departure.

Great for the price
Definitely a no-frills hotel. A short walk from the main road where you can catch a bus to the sights (beach, shopping). A little out of the way, but worth the price.
