Excellent hotel great location

WE cannot recommend this hotel enough. We visited at the end of September based on a recommendation from my daughter who stayed there last year. Excellent location very close to St Marks Square. The hotel staff are so helpful and genuinely go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay.

Traveller's tip

Would recommend a private water taxi transfer from the aiport, what an experience and we got dropped off literally right ourside the hotel entrance. Very pricey but worth it!

Fantastic stay

We stayed at the hotel as a family of 4 and found the service, facilities, accommodation and location to be superb. Our greeting at reception could not have been better and the offers of help during our stay, for any aspect, were plenty. The service was efficient and always with a smile. The room was excellent, being roomy and very comfortable - not that you’re in it very much with so much to see and enjoy. The breakfast on offer was also very good with plenty of choice to get you going for the day. The location was also excellent, quiet but very close to the Grand Canal and many of the main sites. It was also very easy to find, just follow the instructions!

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Use the water buses to get around and be prepared to walk as much as possible to see all the sights. Take note of comments in guide books e.g busy times in St Marks Square and you can see places when it’s less crowded. When eating look for places that offer ’Menu Turistico’ for good value - but it’s not actually as expensive as everyone may lead you to believe.

Great hotel

Beautiful new looking hotel with nicely updated bathrooms. Service by the staff was very professional and excellent all round. They gave very helpful tips about sights and transportation. One thing, their recommended restaurants were good but nothing too special. One can look around and find similarly priced restaurants in a nice location e.g. by the Grand Canal near the Rialto Bridge. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Also, hotel is in a very cnetral location, near both St. Marks and the Rialto Bridge.

Traveller's tip

The hotel is extremely convenient to get to by water taxi. Definitely worth the cost if you have a lot of luggage, which we did. It is literally steps away from where the water taxi drops you off, with no bridges to cross.
