Wonderful B&B
We stayed at their "Honeymoon Suite" the Sacre Coeur. This is the perfect suite for a couple who wants to get away and rekindle their love life. The two person shower and the hot tub make the suite. The whole room is wonderful. The B&B is only a few miles from Ashville or the Biltmore. We are going to stay their again next year.!!!

Great B&B
This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting western NC. It is secluded and has a wonderful view. Service was outstanding and the innkeepers were amazing.

A little over-priced B&B on a mountain
We were not unhappy with Chateau on the Mountain, but I thought it was a little bit over-priced. The view was nice, but not spectacular. There wasnt much to do in the immediate vicinity of the chateau except drink wine on the patio, and that wasnt always available. The drive up the side of the mountain was a little nerve-wracking, but fortunately, we didnt have to make the drive in the rain. Breakfast was very good every morning, so no complaints there. If we had paid a little less for the room, wed feel better about what we spent.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get to the chateau before dark, if youve never been there before. Dont miss Chimney Rock.
