Great Hotel for the Monday
Good Business Class hotels in India aren’t easy to find for a reasonable price! This 3 Star property delivers cleanliness, bright atmosphere with nice fixtures, very comfortable bedding, a good breakfast buffet, pleasant bar & pool, and a convenient location for the northwest side of Pune. The reception area, while not grand, is cheerful and hosted by very friendly personnel. We will stay here again.

Cute little W wannabe
This hotel is in the Tech. park in Pune- over an hour from the airport, unfortunately, due to traffic. It seems like a pretty new hotel, and it’s definitely trying to be trendy a la the "W" hotels- with pounding Metallica music in the lobby and a hip poolside bar/lounge (called the "Slounge"). My room was quiet and comfortable, but my colleague’s room was over the Slounge and she did say the noise kept her up half the night. Guess I was lucky to have a room near the elevator. The hotel is full of expats and business people. My one quibble was that the DHL package I sent could not be located. I stayed at 9 other hotels in Asia/India on this trip and got my packages without incident at all of them. The staff here are not pretentious the way "W" hotel staff can be, but they seemed utterly perplexed with regard to my package, even when I gave them a receipt for delivery. Since Lemon Tree is clearly a business hotel, I’m a bit perplexed mysekf as to why this seemed to be such a problem for them. Apart from this, it’s a cute, comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel, and I would stay there again.
