Can’t fault it!
The Hotel Dolce Vita is a great choice is you’re planning on staying in the Porto Cervo area. Its a 20-25 minute walk to the harbour, but theres plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby not to have to go. The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are really clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed in 3 different hotels during our week in Sardinia and this was by far the nicest and best value for money.
There was some fantastic restaurants near to the Dolce Vita. ’Spinnaker’ was outstanding - a lovely place packed full of locals every night. You really need to book though.

Lovely Puerto Cervo Hotel
This is a great little hotel (I think it has around 18 rooms). The staff were really friendly, the service great, very spacious rooms with lots of character, lovely pool, good breakfast - all in all a great place to stay! Although it’s not on the coast or in town, there’s a good little supermarket, cafe and a couple of restaurants 3 minutes walk away. I would recommend hiring a car so you’re able to easily get around, but I’d advise visiting this area to do that anyway as there’s lots to explore further up the coast as well as inland.
Traveller's tip on dining
There’s a great little restaurant just down the road called "Spinaker". It can be very busy, so it’s best to book (which the hotel can do for you). Also, depending on what you’re used to it may seem a bit on the expensive side, but the food’s excellent and the service friendly and efficient.

Wouls Stay there again in a Heartbeat
The hotel satff was extremely friendly and hospitable. From the 2 brothers that run the hotel down to the bartender that was there every night int eh bar/pool area. They were always there with a welcoming smile and wanted to make sure that your stay was perfect. The rooms were very spacious and always kept clean. Even when the late nights in Porto Cervo don’t get you out of bed til noon, the room was always clean when getting back from the late afternoon at the beach.
