Could have been better

First impression of the hotel was good, clean modern, nice gardens and pool. The Room had all the modcons but not much space for lugguage. On reading the room information we ordered our free pot of tea after waiting 1/2 hour and 3 calls later it eventually arrived. The Buffet Breakfast was dissapointing due to no refridgearation unit for the sliced meats, milk, juice and cheese. By the time we came down to eat the food had got sweaty and warm. Coissants where spongy not crispy also no toaster. The garden and pool was lovely with nice palms. Wedding receptions were held 5 out 6 nights we were their in the garden rooms. The guests invaded the pool area while waiting for reception to begin also the music went on late into the night.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

You need to have you own transport as you are not near anything apart from the beech. Visit Pastium Ruins and Agopoli at night. The Further South we travelled the more pretty the scenary was especially Palinuro

An example of an American business class hotel

We stayed at this hotel for only one night but was grateful for the late afternoon staff who secured us an after hours snack and touring bicycles. The rooms were modern in furnishings, clean, albeit a little small, but very American in detail. The double bed was not two beds pushed together, one cohesive bed, generous shower size (by European standards) and a staff that knew English quite well. This by all accounts was a great hotel for the price. We had dinner next door at its sister hotel The Savoy which also had excellent service and enjoyed an elegant meal.

Location is not suited for train traveling and there are no cabs waiting by the station. You are best off driving in this location.
