Butlins Spanish style
This place is quite near the Denia marina and not that far from the centre of town, but is essentially a small walled resort of the type British sitcoms used to go to when the series was getting stale - it has activities up on the board for each day, and menus as well. The pool is the centrepiece and isnt too enticing. Kids everywhere, angry parents lurking in the cramped and dated poolside area. I would not recommend it unless you are Boycey and Trigger.
Dont try to save and stay here - youll regret it. Stay at the Posada del Mar or the El Rasat in town - top drawer hotels in the centre of town by the marina and worth the expense.

Not Impressed
The hotel rooms have not been renovated for a very long time. We requested a double bed, but received to single beds. The beds were not comfortable either. The cooker did not have an oven and it took 20min to heat up. Also there was no washing machine. There was no hair drier or iron. We stayed for 11 days and these utilities start missing after the first week.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
You should definately try to rent a car, since besides a very long beach there is nothing much to see in Denia. However it is a great location if you want to visit both Alicante and Valencia since it is exactly in the middle.
