Fantastic

When we got to the hotel we noticed that there were building sites on both sides which were of concern. We were given a room on the top floor, which turned out to be an apartment, even though we were expecting a standard double room. The standard of the windows meant that there was very little disturbance from the adjacent sites. the room itself was impeccable in cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast was excellent and the standard of service thoroughout the hotel was impressive. This is probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and would have no hesitation in recommending it

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Go and see Auschwitz. It really is an unforgettable experience.

superb position

Upon arrival unfortunately the reception staff would only speak after you spoke first (the initial good morning had to be prompted). The interior of the hotel and the room is very good. clean and well looked after. We noticed that the bathroom wash basin was cracked and also the tap was loose, we reported this to reception and the porter came and had a look ,but said and did nothing. We found out that the manager would not be available until our last day at the hotel. I arranged to meet with the Manager and we discussed the problems whereby he was most apologetic and surprised that we had not been offered another room when we initially pointed out the problem. By way of an apology he asked if we would accept an evening meal and drinks free of charge on our klast night.. We had eaten in the hotel restaurant earlier during our stay and we knew that the meals were superb.

The hotel food was brilliant, but we ate at several other places also and typically on the last day found a brilliant Bavarian style restaurant in the park that was very reasonable.
