Very spacious apartment, a short walk up the hill from the Marina in a quite area of town.

Great self catering
This was previously known as Marina Park. If you have read other reviews you will know this complex is up a steep but sort hill, recommend hire car for this very reason. It can be noted that a free car park is available at the bottom of the hill near the Marina which would then make a nice walk into town and a nice drive back home. We had a two bedroom apartment which had a great balcony, for a lovely afternoon sun and sunset. The apartment has all you might need, including dishwasher and washing machine, but does lack a kettle. There are plenty of clean and large beaches near by and plenty of supermarkets. Take a gentle stroll through the marina and grab a coffee and then head to the town of Lagos for all you might need. Great side of town to stay, and the new council swimming pool was the hidden gem of our stay with 2 young children on a quiet but warm autumn half term break. Enjoy your holiday! Oct 2008.

A Great Location in the Algarve
Marina Park is a great location in the Algarve. Whether you want to use it as a base to explore the area or enjoy all the benefits of the local beach bars, restaurants and marina. Do try the Adega Marina Restaurant - local cooking, local ingredients, good prices and a great atmosphere. Yes, it is a walk uphill back to the apartment but hey what a great way to keep fit!
