Perfect escape

When looking for a place to stay in Seville we wanted to be where all the sights were. After staying in the central part (tourist district) of town for 2 nights, we were ready to get away from the crowds and relax by the pool. Thankfully, the Silken was still close to the sights, restaurants and action, but was a nice hotel with a beautiful pool and amenities we are used to... hard to find an American style hotel in Europe. What made it even better was the price! There is a bike exchange location right across the street so we rented bikes and rode them into the center of town on Seville’s dedicated bike paths. This hotel was great and we wish we found it earlier instead of getting ripped off staying in the center of town.

Back in a flash

After a great week driving all over Spain this hotel was just the ticket. Easy access by car and close to both downtown 5 min and the airport 20 min made it a great choice if you have your own car. The concierge was great and set us up with both great Flamenco and dinners both nights. The service was great. Rooms are a little small by US standards but not by Spain’s. I would stay here during my next visit.

A ’palace’ maybe pushing it but a decent hotel nontheless

While this hotel’s decor is a 1980’s extravenganza crossed with a leisure centre, it’s a decent hotel. Very clean, well-maintained and the staff spoke enough English to answer all our queries. Not exactly close to the centre (and probably a little to far to walk) however buses leave from around the corner Euro 1.20 for a ticket and taxi’s to/from the centre cost about Euro 7.00. Overall I was very happy with this hotel.
