Good basic hotel and very friendly
Great Basic hotel. Could do with a box of paper hanks in the room. Its not the best hotel in the area - but as long as they charge accordingly its great. I have stayed there before and shall go again.
Too far from the port or Marbella centre to walk. Rooms are basic but very adaquate and acceptable. Lovely pool and beds - but walled. The staff are friendly and very efficient. As long as they keep their prices down its okay. I visit friends nearby this hotel, so it suits me to be there. Therefore, I would stay again. Not a fancy breakfast - but again - good enough. I felt very much at home there.

Hotel Locrimar / Novellis
The hotel is amazing. I had read so many bad reviews I had started to doubt staying there. I guess the people giving the bad reviews didn’t have a pulse in their bodies. What’s good about it? It’s very clean for one.... the pool is stunning (especially at night), the restaurant is beautifully laid out (the meals are quite steep but then the food lives up to the price), the staff are very courteous and humerous.. but then of course they HAVE to be as they are constantly promoting a 5 star restaurant ... no point having great food when the staff suck at their jobs right?? The rooms are spacious and clean.... ok it’s not the RItz but then it never said it WAS the Ritz. Go for it!! You wont be dissappointed.

Novelli
We arrive at the hotel which had just been refurbed & is now called Novelli’s after Jean Christophe Novelli who has a resteraunt located within the hotel. Half of the staff at the hotel are english & the other half spanish who speak excellent english, everyone is polite & efficient & we received superb service as well as a free upgrade just by asking! Its about a 10 minuite walk into Puerto Banus and i would definately reccomenmd this chilled out hotel if you are looking for a break.

A taxi from the airport cost us 80euros each way so prebook a transfer or hire a car if you can
