Perfect in so many ways!
This hotel is everything a hotel should be. The staff could not be more helpful, the rooms are lovely, the location is great. A simple and high-quality breakfast buffet runs until noon, and nothing seems too much trouble. Rarely have I come away from a hotel feeling such satisfaction. We mailed to say we would arrive early and at 10am our room was ready and breakfast was on offer - this made such a difference to our short stay. Easy walking distance from most things but a peaceful welcoming building. Very, very good!

A pearl in the heart of Lisbon
My parents and I stayed here for three days. It was probably the best hotel experience we had in Europe. We’re surprised it’s not a 5-star hotel. The hotel was close to the city center (5 minutes walking) and the train station. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated (especially the bathroom) and even had a DVD player and flat screen TV. The staff were very courteous and attentive. There is also a library in the hotel, where you could print from the internet for free -- huge plus, in my opinion -- and there are also magazines and books in different languages, in case you need some reading material. We definitely will return to the hotel on our next trip to Lisbon!

Great Mod Hotel
After being in Portugal for two weeks and swinging and missing on several hotels it was a pleasure to find the coolness and comfort of The Heritage. Yes, the bed wasn’t the softest, but at least it was a king size and not two twins put together. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the little tea nook was a nice addition--something to show the history of the place.
