No need to worry
When we read the reviews, we were anxious about turning up past midnight at this hotel, but had no need to worry as we never felt less than safe here. Room was great and quiet, clean with a huge bed. Hotel was dated but clean and fitness room and pool were great. Breakfast was expensive at , but it was, eat as much as you like. However, on the last morning, we were told there was a continental option at half the cost, so if you don’t want cooked breakfast, ask for this. Food in the bar was awful. Tescos and Lidels are a 2 minute walk away. Hotel is easy to find in the daylight, if you are arriving at night, make sure you have good directions!

Very Impressed
This hotel really exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a functional simple hotel. Instead I found a modern, clean, well designed hotel. The bedrooms decor was gorgeous and it was lovely large size. The bed was very comfy! I used the leisure centre too, which was very convenient to use. It is located just outside the city - about 10 minutes by car from the main shopping streets during peak times.

we’ll be back
I stayed for two nights with my two children, aged 14 and 12, got a great deal online. Our room was bright and clean. I had a double bed and the children had a single each side of me. (one a foldup but comfortable). The bathroom was a bit worn looking, scrapes on the countertop. Bit small also. Overal the hotel is lovely, bright and modern (television excluded). Our view was of a halting site, my children took a huge interest in the lives of travellers after our visit there. The breakfast wasn’t worth it, and the service was poorest there. Also quality of food wasn’t great either at breakfast or when we had our lunch on the Saturday. On the plus sides, we brought the laptop and when we called down because of connection difficulties, we were dealt with within minutes and we also enjoyed the massage chairs. Staff were polite, pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed the 20m pool, although the steam room was broken and I was disappointed at the size of the sauna. Overall, you can’t beat the price and we could always eat out next time
