Very impressed but

We had booked a show for 7.30 and was disappointed to learn we could not eat in the restaurant before 7.15. I would have thought there could be an early bird theatre meal.

This hotel looks after you very well.

Food and service make this special. Standard room o.k. but rather small and needed to be able to see t.v. without getting a crick in the neck. The dining room was very well run with smooth and expert service. The food was excellent and well presented with good choice. Staff helpful and friendly without becoming familiar. Would stay here again but in a better room.

Traveller's tip

Very near to Lytham St Anne’s golf club for major championships.

Valentines Day Surprise

My husband booked this hotel for Valentines Day and we stayed in room 284, a boutique room. The room was very small and the bed a small 4’6". We have a 6’ bed at home so it was a little snug! The room deal was dinner, bed and breakfast and both meals were excellent. The hotel is well placed for the shopping centre, which is within walking distance. There is also a cinema and bowling alley opposite the hotel, so great if staying longer. There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, excellent lounge, restaurant and bar. I would definitely stay here again, although I’d see if there were any larger rooms!

There are some excellent restaurants in Lytham St Anne’s, including Tigi’s. If you get chance drive to the older town and ask for Nadine’s ~ a tiny coffee shop serving good home cooked food and home baked cakes, to eat in or take away. Divine!
