great hotel superb location
the hotel was extremely well located and in walking distance of all the main attractions of palermo. staff were friendly, could recommend a range of places to eat and drink and when we checked in had upgraded our room. there was parking opposite the hotel for a charge of 10 euros a day which was reasonable for the city center. the room itself was super with a kingsize bed and spotlessly clean. an excellent stay!

Comfortable hotel in Palermo
Perfect location, good restaurants and shopping nearby - though a bit of a walk to the old bits of Palermo - airport bus stops around the corner too and the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to Mondello beach when the heat gets too much. Drink on rooftop at sunset is recommended - great views.

Great room and location but not very welcoming
Positives: Great room. Comfy bed. Great location. Very good breakfast. Negatives: Service is pretty bad. Not welcoming at the front desk. Unable to borrow an iron at 5pm on Saturday because they usually have a paid service but it was closed - no irons to loan. Had to go to dinner in a less than fashionable crush. Requested a wake up call the day of our flight and did not get one. Luckily, being extra careful, I set my phone alarm or we’d never have woken up in time. When I told them at the front desk received no apology, asked me if I was sure I had called and who had I spoken with, as though I was making it up! Not what I’d expect from a 4 star hotel.
