Good hotel, good location
Like all the Country Inn properties I’ve stayed at, this one was clean and comfortable. Good location, just a few minutes from downtown Lake George and even closer to the factory outlets and good restaurants. Room was very nice, well equipped and clean. The complimentary breakfast was quite good. Price was very reasonable, but I was there off-season. All told, an excellent place for the price. I will stay there again.
Traveller's tip on dining
The nearby Log Jam restaurant is a bit pricey but very good. Big salad bar. Good prime rib. Warm, welcoming bar with good drinks.
