Great stay for great price.

my family and i spent 2night 3days at your hotel recently for a family function. being from MA and in need of a cheap place to stay i was very pleased with the hotel, the pool could of stayed open til 12 but it was still enjoyable. No ice machine onour floor but the elevator was very accesible and evrything was very close by. good shops and great food. I was happy with the location very easy in and out and very quiet and felt very safe where we were and with the parking.

If you love southern Maryland, stay here

As most travelers know, Waldorf is right in the middle of southern Maryland with access to DC and the Eastern Shore, plus acts as a thruway for those of you going to Virginia Beach or points south by car. My sister and I recently had to go for a business concern in Waldorf and stayed at the County Inn & Suites by Carlson. What can I say? It was beyond expectations. The rate was discounted, the rooms large, the toilet "energetic", no smoking, pleasant and courteous staff, great pillows on the queen-sized beds, and a simply wonderful breakfast bar. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed!

"Needs Improvement"

Customer services was really good. The pest problem was terrible, lots of ants. The Pool and Jacuzzi was very dirty with with floating debris.

Not impressed

I guess you get what you pay for with this one - the room was nice and the breakfast buffett was excellent other than that I can’t say much for the staff and the service, not much for customer service. The pool was dirty and had visible dirt/sand in the bottom and it was so hot in the pool room that it fogged the windows up and you couldn’t sit in there. We stayed for three nights and I never did feel really comfortable.

This is not a close hotel for those going to Budds Creek MX Track. You can find a closer hotel.

Very family friendly. Nice size pool and the continental breakfast was great.

Great Customer Service

The staff where great. We wanted to move from a king to 2 queen beds and they moved us with no problem. The manager was very nice to us during our stay.

Great Inn, Fantastic staff

Everything was wonderful at Country Inn and Suites...from the ease of check-in to the complimentary breakfast. The staff was always friendly and very helpful, especially Brittany who gave us tips on travelling into the city and local restaurants. I would most definately stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Ugh! Ants welcomed us on arrival

Although the staff was very courteous, the room we were given had ants!! The staff immediately provided us with a new room which was very clean and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

Find another hotel

My children and I arrived at the hotel approximately 9:15 after a long, rainy car ride. My children (ages 13 and 10) were so excited to jump in the pool before bed. However, we were informed at check in that children are not allowed in the pool after 9:00. This was news to us as it is not posted anywhere on the website. Also, I had a very difficult time sleeping because I could hear the people above us walking around the entire night as well as a "bbq grill convention" outside in the parking lot until midnight. The walls are paper thin. Furthermore, I thought the front desk girl was rude. When I asked her what was going on in the parking lot she told me at first it was an "egg convention", which I found to be disrespectful. Next time we’re in that area I will definitely find another hotel and won’t ever stay at a country inn and suites again. Very cheaply made hotel.

Had a 2 night stay. Was impressed with all aspects of this motel. I will definatly be staying there again as I travel that area frequently.

Our family stays in Waldorf as least once a month and we always stay at the Country Inn.

Great deal for Family D.C. trip!

Our family of four was very comfortable in the 1 bedroom suite with a fold out sofa bed in the living room area (and you couldn’t beat the price!). The two television sets were great so the kids could watch their stuff and we could watch ours. The location was safe and convenient. It took us about 20 minutes to drive to downtown D.C., but did observe quite a few Metro stations closer off the main drag that you could park at. The breakfast in the morning was a super selection too. And of course having a pool was another plus for the kids. I would definitely stay again!

You can do better

Garbage pick up at 3AM. Bus motors running at 7AM. The noisiest room I can remember. Upon arrival I noticed that the door to the closit was loose. I notified the front desk and was told it would be fixed. Three days later it was still not fixed. I will not stay here again.

Great hotel

Excellent room. Nice hotel indoor pool and relaxing jacuzzi. Only complaints, breakfast is over at 9:30AM (could be a bit later), no on site restaurant for lunch or dinner but simply went out or ordered from nearby places-ask for menus at lobby.

Was Just OK

Room was tired but clean enough for a 12-hour stay. There were stains on the carpet. There was water damage on the ceiling. There was a 1 1/2 inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor... I could hear everything in the hallway as if my door were open. I had breakfast 45 minutes before last call. What was left of the hot food (not much) looked completely unappetizing. Had cereal instead. Would not stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay

The only problem that I encountered was that there is only a limited number of slots available to use the internet and my first night there I was unable to get online. Other than that it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

Great stay

It was just a single night stay but the hotel was spotless. All the staff was very courteous, polite, and helpful. I wish we had needed to stay in the area longer.

COUNTRY INN & SUITES

I took my wife with me for a business trip to the area and we chose the Country Inn & Suites after reading other guest comments such as this. We were not disapointed at all. The motel was actually charming for the price. The staff was helpfull and the room was large and clean. We were supprised that we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room at the price we paid. We recomend this motel to other travelers to the area.
