had the best time
i took my two daughters to new york and we had the best time! the hotel was in a great location and the staff were very helpful and polite (especially the breakfast waiters)would definately stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Wingate by Wyndham, Manhattan
Very good hotel. Good location for the sites. Room very comfortable, breakfast good, staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight niggle with size of bath towels - very small. otherwise excellent value for money. Would stay again.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Use the excellent New York Pass for entry into 6 museums etc. Avoids some of the lines and save money and time. Most things are within walking distance but use subway or bus or taxi, all very cheap and clean. Get half price show tickets in Times Square where you see the red TKTS sign on the day you want to go.

Good hotel well located for sightseeing and shopping
Hotel close to Macys and main shopping area. Also a few blocks south of Times Square and close to subway stations. Room of good size with two comfatable double beds. Met our needs very well. Breakfast adequate although could have more variety on different days.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Close to Macys, 7th Avenue shopping and not far from 5th Avenue.
