if i return to Riga this is my place

The hotel is a bit hard to find as it’s a few kilometres away from the centre and hidden among some old streets and buildings. However there was very friendly feeling in the hotel. It’s so small that every guest is special.

I am recomending to some friends

That is probably the best I can say. Whilst not 3 stars, it is good value.

Nice and modest

Good quality for money, however keep in mind your are not going to spend much money :-) Rooms are small and modest but clean, and bathrooms are ok. Friendly staff is happy to help. The hotel is rather far from the city centre however 15 minute walk is an interesting experience (grab the city map from the front office). The hotel is now refurbished and will have a new restaurant in the near future. Generally - a good choice if you are on a tight budget. Beware of Riga taxi drivers! My took me all over the city and ended up at the front of the most expensive hotel in the city - pretending he can’t understand me. The hotel staff can arrange a taxi and definitely use that option.
