Best in Tavira, Algarve
Authentic Poussade building with contemporary interior. No driving required as ideally situated to experience Tavira. Staff and service very friendly & efficient. An experience we would gladly repeat!

Wish I was Still There
Beautifully renovated boutique hotel. This hotel really has an ambiance that can’t be matched with restored cloister and other archictectual details from the past. We really liked the breakfast buffet, had everything you could possibly want and more. Room was nice with comfortable bed and plush linens, slept very well. Loved the pool and public areas of the hotel, lots of great niches to relax and take a load off even if not in our room. Free internet was nice as we booked hotels for other nights, made it so easy. Loved Portugal and Tavira would stay here again if had the chance.

Would recommend Churasqueria O Manel for great grilled dishes in relaxed family atmosphere, try the piri piri chicken or the pork and prawn kebob you can’t go wrong. Also, for a great paella try Restaurante Rio Mar (House of Cataplanas) great service and the paella was outstanding.

Excellent base for long weekend
Very comforatble hotel located a short walk from the town centre with many cafe’s, bar’s and restaurants. Breakfast and dinner’s are substantial.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Good mountain bikes are available for hire at the hotel and given the lovely weather, proximity of beaches and other local attractions a car hire is not necessary (our hire car sat in the Hotel carpark for 3 days!) - it’s a great way to get to know the area especially give the one way streets in Tavira !
