Paper Thin Walls
I brought my girlfriend to Donegal for the weekend, the first night we stayed at the encore in letterkenny. BIG MISTAKE. The walls where paper thin, someone pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night - which, although not the hotel’s fault, was not explained at all at the time nor in the morning - A blanket explanation should have been issued. As for the walls, the people in the adjacent room may as well have been in a double bed at the other side of our room we could hear EVERYTHING they did. Not cool at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Do not eat in the Letterkenny Indian restaurant. It was abysmal and extremely expensive.

Fantastic hotel great location
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, Hotel was modern and contempory. We booked room only and had a meal in the hotel, it was absoloutely fantastic! The location was great, away from the hustle and bussle of the main street. It was easy to find and best of all the parking was free!! We will deffinately go again!!!
Eat in the retail parks, not the main shopping centre as it is much better value for money, has more choice and are really easy to get to.

A lovely modern hotel within walking distance to town centre
Me and a friend stayed here for a saturday night, as we were going out in Letterkennt town. When we arrived the lady on reception was very pleasant and friendly, we had no problem checking in, we then went and ate in the hotel bar, though the bar was quiet the food was lovely and the staff were all really nice. Our hotel room was lovely and clean, very modern. The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of the town, 5- 10 mins and your up the centre of the town. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, plus i thought it was very cheap for the type of hotel it was and for it been a saturday night, so that was an added bonus!
The Cavern Bar is very good to start your night of with, voodoo nightclub is quite young, we ended up in the Pulse nightclub which is over 21’s and very good as there is a disco downstairs and then a live band upstairs so good variety
