Hope to go back next year with friends......will check out golf courses too!

really enjoyed our stay there ..very relaxing.. not very many children at all ....so nice and peaceful! some very nice people there to chat to.. many of whom had had holidays there year after year...rooms good but we wished we had a balcony...when we go again we shall definately have a balcony! lots of lovely places to eat too ... you can walk easily into Deya but we were glad we had a car to explore further.. a lovely place to go!

A self contained world

The Hotel Es Moli is a self contained world set on a hlllside overlooking Deia, one of the nicest small towns anywhere in the world. The hotel gardens, bright with flowers, are large and shady and everyone will be able to find a quiet and secluded spot to read or idle time away. Alternatively, for more energetic and sociable types, there is a superb 30 metre heated pool, fed from the hotel spring, beside which there is an excellent open air restaurant. Meals at the hotel are a pleasure, particularly breakfasts on the terrace overlooking Deia whilst the restaurant associated with the hotel, the Ca’an Quet, offers spectacular views of the Sierra as well as good food. The rooms, particularly those with shady balconies, are large and comfortable. The service, from reception to room cleaning is superb - most staff speak Spanish, English and German - many also speak French. It’s the attention to detail that is impressive, particularly the cut flowers arranged around the hotel - everything works. Can’t wait to return.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

I would recommend hiring a car (with air conditioning), despite the narrow and twisty roads (although the road surface was everywhere good). The scenery of this part of Mallorca is superb and it’s nice to drive into the mountains. The buses are cheap to use but not terribly frequent whilst it’s awkward to go out in the evenings without a car. There are only two taxis in Deia!

Great location. Gorgeous views.

Good hotel.Enjoyed our stay. Really nice gardens and pool area with plenty of shade. The private beach if fantastic although half an hour in a mini bus away. The staff and service are great but the hotel itself is looking in desperate need of a makeover. The bathrooms in particular are very 1970. Overall good value
