Unexpected Split
For the money I paid per night, I was disappointed to learn that the hotel was split in half, with a Mexican resturant in the middle of the two building. Had I know of the split, I would have asked for the half that had the heated pool so that we didn’t half to walk 500 yards soaking wet after swimming or to pick up additional room supplies (towels, soap, ect.) Parking on "our side" was awful. The advertised "buffet breakfast" was nothing more than a continential breakfast, with the addition of hard boiled eggs. Aside from that, the room was great and upscale as I expected.

Hearst Castle 2009
My family and I were looking for a hotel to stay at for the night before we went to Hearst Castle and this was very nice. They still had keys! I loved it. Very quaint, very clean and the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. It even comes with a continental breakfast which saved us money...
