The hotel is nested in a beautiful park with olive groves/ fruit trees/ scented plants. A splendid swimming pool is just there to relax and sun bathe.Guest rooms are spacious/ elegantly furnished/ wooden beams/ each room has open view of the green valley. A touch of courtesy a boiler for tea or coffee in each room. Private bathroom has shower/ hair dryer and toiletries.Breakfast is served in a splendid hall/ hand embroidered tablecloth/ silver service/ refined china/ home made brioches and breads/ jams from the fruits of the garden and that tempting steaming cappuccino.Within walking distance the restaurant obtained from a farm house/ the t-bone steak grilled on charcoal is recommended/ the meat comes from cattle raised in the owner farm.Adjacent the hotel and part of the property a well managed horse back riding. Staffa only 6 miles from Perugia and 15 to Assisi, is a patrician country house/ dating back to the 15th century/ has been magnificently restored/ profusion of period furnishings/ family paintings/ precious carpets.

A real gem
We found the hotel by accident and realised what a gem it is. We were the only guests for our one night and wished we could have stayed for several days but were just en route.
Traveller's tip on dining
Thed restaurant on the hill is great. The beef being favourite.
