Noisy
Munich party goers kept awake all night and we could hear them through the walls. Despite calls to the front desk, the noise improved but persisted. We slept hours. Our room was not switched not did we receive a refund for our stay that night. Do not stay here.

Perfect for Quick Weekend in Munich!
We chose this hotel over a couple of equally priced 5 star hotels available in Munich based on previous reviews. We were extremely satisfied with our decision. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the central train station-which was wonderful. We were able to make it from the airport to the hotel in 1 hour door to door. It is also an easy 10 minute walk to the main shopping area/ Town Hall/ glockenspiel/ restaurants. It is down main roads so easy to find. The rooms were comfortable. There is a hair dryer which is nice and internet access for 24 hours is a bit pricey. The hotel restaurant is okay but expensive. The hotel staff is so nice and you can buy tours at the front desk. The tours meet within walking distance of the hotel. The only major downfall is the neighborhood it is in is a bit seedy. There are lots of "gentlemen entertainment clubs" on the street and the surrounding streets. I would not stay here as a woman alone or with small children. All in all a good experience. Would stay there again and would recommend it to others!
Do not plan to do anything on Sundays in Munich. Everything is closed, from the grocery stores to the pharmacies. The only thing open is restaurants, and they are very crowded. If you are staying here on vacation and want to take any tours our of the city, the day to do it is on Sundays because the city is shut down. We saved Sunday as our day to souvenir shop and were very disappointed because nothing was open. There were about 5 stores in the train station open, and they didnt have a great selection.

Great value in convenient location
Situated close to the main train station in a working class neighborhood in transition, you are a short walk away from all the citys main attractions. The hotel staff was very professional and courteous. The comfortable, kingsize bed is a rarity in Europe!
Traveller's tip on dining
Weisses Brauhuas at 7 Tal offers excellent local cuisine and speciality beers, including Dunkels. Go upstairs where theres expansive seating.
