Great plac to stay
This hotel is located on a hill overlooking the town and the lake, just a 5 to 10 min walk from the town’s main street where all the shops and restaurants are located. The hotel is not terribly impressive from the outside, but on the inside it’s modern and has character. The room itself was attractive and quite spacious. The bathroom, although fairly small, was well laid out and attractive. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and very appetizing and served up in a dining room with picture windows giving great views of the lake. We arrived at the hotel at around 9 am and were checked in right away by the very friendly and efficient staff at the front desk. For some people, the fact that the hotel is on a hill means that walking back to the hotel from the town involves walking up a fairly steep hill. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting El Calafate and would return to this hotel if I ever visited El Calafate again. It’s also worth noting that we found the hotel to be gayfriendly.

Best value hotel I’ve been to
Very modern and well appointed hotel. Beautifully decorated room, except the lamps imitating deer horns made of plastic. Excellent buffet breakfast as well. Highly recommended hotel.

Beautiful Hotel & Kind People
The hotel was far beyond our expectations!! The rooms were beautiful with unique decorations that are very cozy and make you feel like you are staying in a luxury ski cabin. The bi-lingual front desk staff was very kind! They were happy to help us arrange our activities and provide any recommendations we needed. Absolutely worth the price! Great hotel!!
