Cova and his sourrondings
The cova itslef is a quite good hotel. the recepcionist were not so bright and "smart".They were very stuck to their policy with low sensitive to customer needs. I had to solve the problem with the mgr ,a very empatic lady and smart with good sense of business and risk taking behavior(she prolonged our staying for 3 more days even we the cova was scheduled to be fully booked). I wouldn’t reccomend the Cova because it is located in a "unsafe" area of SF.A lot of gang around which din’t make us feeling safe coming back to te cova in the evening.Anyway nothing happened to us.

Cova in October
Very nice Hotel. In a pretty tough area of town, but the people do not bother you. We walked to our restaurant after dark and there were many people on the streets and no one bothered us. There was no air conditioning in our room and it got pretty hot. We opened the sliding door to the outside, but it stayed pretty warm and it got noisy. The room was clean and had been updated recently. It was located near Union Square and other attractions. One thing you have to know upfront is if you rent a car or drive, parking is not free. We paid $25 per day for parking at the hotel. You did have unlimited entry and exits but it was an expense that I didn’t expect. The staff was great.

Very nice and friendly..
I needed a hotel near San Francisco City Hall for my wedding. This hotel was nearby and was clean and had a modern twist to it. It does not have AC, but you don’t really need it at night in the City. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. There is a shuttle that takes you to Union Square if you are a tourist. Also, this hotel was the only one in the area that accommodated an early check-in; other potential hotel’s didn’t even consider it when I was looking around. I would definitely stay there in the future.
