Very good value
The hotel was exactly what we wanted and October is an excellent time of year to go. It was a shame that it costs 10 Euro to use the indoor pool as that would be very useful if the weather turned. Having a kitchenette is a huge bonus, although apart from pots and pans you do need to bring much of the things needed with you. There is a decent supermarket 15 minutes away but you need to know where you are going. There are however a large number of restaurants in the town. The location is superb, an excellent town with 4km of sandy beach on one side and a series of sandy coves on the other. The hotel is just by the marina. The room was bright, modern and had lots of space. We stayed for a night in Faro afterwards - and that seemed like a shoe box in comparison.

The place to stay in Lagos, Portugal
We have just returned from our third stay in the Marina Club Hotel and as before cannot praise it enough. It’s location is ideal with the town, beach, bus and rail stations all within ten minutes walk. Everyone of the staff in the hotel are friendly and very helpful and every aspect of the building, pool and all rooms are extremely clean. Cannot fault this hotel or any of it’s staff in any way.
