Great location, Great Front Desk, Horrible Housekeeping
As a leisure sightseer, It was a great location as a tram stop was just 50 ft. away and the tram system is convenient for seeing the city. The front desk was helpful in meeting our needs. It seemed though that houskeeping was having a hard time keeping us stocked with towels and other sundries such as soap and shampoo. A couple of times we had to go to the front desk for towels, soap and toilet paper. They were very accomedating. The bathrooms were always less than clean, and it seems that the floor in the bedroom was not swept so good. Also the breakfast buffet was way less than stellar. For what they charged it was definetly not worth the money

Maybe once its renovated
I was very disappointed in this hotel, despite a convenient location a 10 minute tram ride from the city center. The hotel is currently in shambles including the two guest rooms I stayed in and the hallways. It is going through what appears to be a piecemeal renovation under new ownership, which I was told will be finished in a year. The room I was given the first night had ratty thirty year old carpeting, old musty blankets, and a bed with a flimsy mattress that was practically on the floor. The walls were dingy and the furniture was in very poor condition. They apologized and said it was the only room available since I arrived late. I insisted they move me to a new room on the 2nd night, and that room was considerably better, but still well below the condition or cleanliness of a typical budget motel like a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn. The saving grace of this hotel was its extremely nice young staff who spoke English and made my stay more bearable.

Not impressed at all.
The condition of the room was very bad. The carpet was very old and dirty. There were no facility for drinking water/coffee in the room. people have to drink from Basin in the toilet. otherwise pay to get mineral water bottle. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom so flooding the area everytime I had shower. I had to request for toiletry from the reception.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Dont go to the nearest Spar out let. Their price is almost 150-200% higher than the other shops. Try to arrive early as the shops close at around 7pm.
