Very Hard BEDS
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was another story. A little friendly roach met me inside. Beds are rock hard. If you like a very firm bed you will be impressed! Shower was hot and then cold, no consistent water temperature and no pressure. Went to dry my hair with my own dryer, the outlet was so worn my plug would not stay in it. The bathroom was very clean but I think they forgot to vacuum the rest of the room. Room had a very musty smell. This hotel in central to a lot of attractions and if you are on a very tight budget you might consider it. I was traveling alone and felt very uncomfortable with the area.

No internet
I am a full time student. I needed internet to do my online classes. I stayed for one week. I didn’t have internet at all. I had to go to wireless hotspots to get the internet. My husband has obsessive compulsive disorder. I told the person at the front desk. Well he didn’t make a note of it and the maids came in and moved stuff all around. We did get that taken care of. Complementary breakfast was disgusting. Other than that it was a good stay.

Economical stay in Brownsville
Beds are hard, pillows are not firm. Staff was friendly. Corner convenience store within walking distance, even safe at night.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Sunrise Mall is very close and it has a great food court. Watch for contruction zone on freeway.
