Villa Margherita

The Hotel boasts a renowned tradition in hospitality: already in the past it has been the residence of those willing to spend their holiday in one of the most important and ancient thermal resort in Italy. Thanks to its position starting from Casciana you can easily reach some of the most famous cities of arts in Tuscany. The owners succeeded in maintaining the right balance of classic and modern; the beauty and peace of the park merge with the elegance of the inner rooms: the large rooms, all with private bathrooms and equipped with Sat-TV and telephone with direct line, the comfortable reading and living rooms and two small bars. The hotel has also an unguarded private car park. The rooms are situated either in the central building or in the park; the latter having private entrance and the possibility to take in your small pets.

Very Relaxing

The staff are very friendly and speak good english. The rooms have excellent air con and are nicely decorated and have huge windows with shutters. The pool area is very nice. There is no service though so you have to go back into the hotel to get a drink. This is the ONLY flaw i can think of. The food is very nice and good value.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Walk down to the Piazza Garibaldi (2 mins down the street) to watch the world go by. Lots of locals with their families milling around in a very relaxed setting.
