good hotel but is in the middle of nowhere, beware
A big big let down, on arrival the hotel looked and was perfect the room was spacious and had great views over looking the tuscan hills. We had a car and the nearest town, prato was 15 mins drive. after breakfast the hotel had none or very little food available no room service, because of the location it was difficult to get food. There was a restaruant over the road but it was shut the 2 days were there. a taxi can cost up to 36 euros to get back from prato to hotel so be warned. the train station in prato however has free parking so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just so you are aware the hotel is fantastic rooms were clean and breakfast was great too.

A little gem
Had to find it off the motorway but well worth it. The room, with its balcony, was superb. The staff very helpful indeed (even sent a letter home for us).

Outstanding Hotel
In our 15 days trip in Italy this hotel was the most surprising stay. We had a balcony/small yard in front of the room, spa products,spa sleepers, great staff,relaxing atmosphere.Great place, large room and bath. You need a car to go there.It is on the road to Calenzano, 20 km north of Florence but you won’t regret it. It is in the forest, fresh air, away of everything, very luxury and relaxing. Great experience.
