Hendaye is a gem
Plain & simple but excellent location,charming staff. Very relaxing. Fantastic beach just around the corner
get the small ferry to Spain 1.60 euro each way . 5 minutes walk from hotel in the marina. Loads of good food and bars

Great location in Hendaye
Only there for 1 night in what is clearly a "weekly stay" hotel. 2 great ambient pools, rooms great at price, breakfast as advertised and only 1 street back from seafront. Would happily stay her again - better for knowing location - sedure parking (underground & hence cool) available.
Ignore the long stay folk and enjoy!!

Charming
Other than the smallness of the rooms it was very nice. Great location. Staff VERY friendly and bi-lingual. Food very good. Would recommend fans in the rooms for when it gets very humid--doesn’t really need A/C. Satellite TV did not have any English speaking channels, but who cares?
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Just a couple of blocks away is a water taxi that takes you to a great little town in Spain in about 10 minutes for 1.5 euros. It comes and goes every half hour
