Ideal hotel for exploring the Provence
Didn’t realise how extraordinary Les Baux itself really was-a complete surprise.Hotel well situated for the big three-Arles,Avignon and Aix-en-Provence.Dinners excellent,breakfast extensive.Outlook from rooms a little dark and the bed was quite narrow and a little hard.The mattress probably needed replacing.Staff very nice,helpful and attentive.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Do visit Les Baux and Gordes,although watch the prices here,Avignon involves a lot of walking especially in the Papal Palace. Aix very friendly and Arles good if you are a fan of Vincent van Gogh.
