Decent Hotel in a Decent Area
My room served it’s function: a place to sleep and shower. It definitely has an old feel to it, from the bed, to the red carpet and matching chair and curtains. The area looked a little sketchy and noise was easily heard within the hotel walls, but not too much from outside. Near a couple of restaurants, casinos and the university. The "gym" as it’s called is inadequate- 2 pieces of equipment, no free weights, etc. The maids were a little loud when talking in the hallway, regardless of the "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging on the door. Pretty much the same hotel I stayed in a year ago- no changes.

extended time
we were at the Best Western inn and conference center for five days while my Grandsons did a Kidney transplant, one giving and one receiving. The staff were helpful and friendly, including the shuttle bus driver to hospital. dining room clean and breakfast satisfactory. There has been construction work in progress for awhile the halls are dusty with plaster and need a good vaccuming.Missed having a bedside clock. Maid service good. Last night there had dog barking at 10:30, called desk, was about a hour before all was quiet. well located within walking distance to near by restaurants. All in all our stay was pleasant. R
