Best Hotel in Old Delhi

Chose this heritage hotel due to its closeness to the Kashmere Gate Interstate Bus Terminal. It’s clean, cool, has an excellent dining room and a great swimming pool. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms were large and comfortable. Compares really well with the hustle and bustle outside in Old Delhi.

lovely but a little shabby

More run down than I expected for the price. Sparsely booked, but they refused to accommodate a late check without a half day charge. I booked airport transfer with hotel: one trip was $40, another was $12. Odd.

Overall a nice stay.

We were a family of 4, including 2 kids and while the hotel was very accomodating and polite, it wasn’t the friendliest place for kids. Our room was upgraded to the suite which was awesome given the very good price we had arranged with hotels.com, however the cost for the extra bed was more than half the price we paid for the entire room! The restaurant was also expensive. But the pool was lovely and a great asset when traveling with kids! The area around the hotel was quiet and lovely - we had hired a car and driver so were able to manage the distance from the rest of the sights.
