Good Hotel in a Great City
The Galileo Hotel is well run with helpful staff, great breakfast and free internet access. Our room was generous in size and well maintained. It has close access to public transportation and there are good dinning options close to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much.
If you arrive at the train station, do not respond to any of the "offers" of help from strangers when you disembark. Find the Travelers Information location and use their services to help you get to your hotel, etc.

Good Hotel
We found the Galileo to be a great base for exploring Prague. It is a little outside of the centre but within a short tram ride or gentle stroll of Wencelas Square and within easy reach of all the main attractions. The Hotel was clean and friendly with free internet access in the lounge. Breakfast was ok but the hot selection was not really to our taste (overcooked fried eggs, spicy beans and chipolata sausage) but there was plenty of other choices available. The beauty of staying slightly outside the centre was the price of the local bars and restaurants was a fraction of those in the old town etc. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Very Impressive
In our trip to EU, we found this hotel to be the best! The hotel was like new. We were greeted very friendly and given our nice and sparkling clean room. The staff was very helpful. They provided us with all we need and went above and beyond their duties to make sure to help us. The breakfast was great with wide selection of breads, sweets, yogurts, even eggs and sausage were available, not to mention juices, hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. Everything to please us. Wehn we go back to Prague, we will surely be booking that Hotel!
