Convenient, inexpensive stay in Central Madrid
Room Mate Alicia is small, modern, clean, and convenient to museums, restaurants, etc. For those traveling by air, it’s about three blocks’ walk from the nearest Metro station, a line of which goes directly to the airport. We found our room surprisingly quiet despite being at the corner of the busy and beautiful Plaza Santa Ana. We definitely recommend this hotel especially to singles and couples, and to Culture Vultures.
The adjacent restaurant was perfect for an early bite of breakfast from their generous buffet, and served good basic tapas and wines in the evenings.

Modern Spanish Style
Our first visit to Madrid and we find this gem. A very modern stylish hotel right in the heart of the Old Town. It is in easy walking distance of everything. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was very good. We would be happy to stay there again.

Location, location, location!!!
Extremely well located hotel. Easy walking distance from most important art galleries also from excellent restaurants and tapas bars. Very helpful and friendly staff all with excellent english. No noise problem - quadruple glazing. No light problems - blackout blinds.
