Good Enough for a Business Stay
Pradotel, Crolles is used mainly by French and foreign national business travellers. The room standard is very similar to that of a business hotel in the UK, i.e., simple, basic and functional. On the downside the room offers no tea/coffee facilities, no hairdryers, no ironing facilities (I have asked) and only 1 English tv channel (CNN). The hotel is linked to the "Amazonia" gym directly opposite which is basic, functional and free to hotel guests. The hotel menu is limited and unimaginitive although the wine and service are generally good. There is a Chinese and also a French cuisine restaurant within walking distance.

basic business hotel
If you have business at STM, this is an extremely convenient place to stay (it is right across the street). It is a low-frills, efficient, good-value hotel. Two minor shortcomings: one, they do not have wireless internet access in the rooms or hotel, but I was told they will have it soon (although they do offer a high speed modem, you have to disconnect your phone to make it work); and two, and when I asked for a late checkout (2PM) I was told I would have to pay for an additional day. This seemed a little extreme. Otherwise, I was happy with the hotel and service. The hotel also has a pretty good restaurant, which is nice because there is not much else in the way of eateries nearby.
