Excellent hotel for Charleston day trips
Excellent location, easy access to downtown, great room accommodations, helpful, knowledgeable staff, wonderful hot breakfasts, reasonably priced - good value; only negative - hotel sign was hard to see
Bring your own GPS device (Tom Tom). Bring a folding cooler with to pack quick lunches to save money and time. Bring a roll or two of quarters for meters. Buy attraction tickets at the visitor center. Pick up a historic district map for your walks!

Comfortable
The room had a full refrigerator and microwave. There was full breakfast and a happy hour daily. Drawback is that the Hotel is not in walking distance of a restaurant.
