Fantastic value

We had a wonderful time at the Appia Residences. The location is excellent, right at the foot of Prague Castle. We were able to walk to all of the main sites including the Old Town and Wenceslas Square. The Appia Residences are also on a quiet side street. Just secluded enough to ensure peace and quiet but still very central. The room itself was very nice. We had the Double Deluxe which was really a suite with a separate sitting room. The bed was very comfortable with fluffy white sheets. The staff also kindly set up a baby cot for our infant son. Breakfast was included. It was served buffet-style on the upper floor, a nice space with a vaulted wooden roof. A nice selection of eggs, pastries, cereal and juices. I would definitely recommend the Appia Residences, especially for families.

The closest supermarket to the Appia Residences is at the entrance to Charles Bridge. It’s open until 10pm. It comes fully stocked and has everything you need for any late night emergencies!

Unbelievable hotel

Room was great for a family. Parking garage was secure and worth the extra money. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful hotel in calm and safe surroundings

What the hotel lacked in friendliness and service was made up for in location, character and cleanliness. Upon arrival the receptionist (male- there were others upon departure who were more friendly) was distant, uninterested and unfriendly. No-one bothered to take us to our room even though it was late and dark, and this receptionist appeared offhand. The bar area is very quiet and unwelcoming. However, the hotel is in a safe and quiet area surrounded by embassies and government buildings, within easy walking distance of most things, the hotel building is charming and pretty, and the rooms are beautifully clean and well appointed. Breakfast was reasonably good but we were disappointed not to be offered the opportunity to take it in the courtyard as described in the hotel details, even though the weather was hot.

City cruise by river is an excellent and relaxing way to get an overview of the landmarks and history
