great location
although only a brief stay we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Grand. a perfect location on the sea front yrt within a short walk of the town centre

Good hotel, good location, highly recommended!
Really great hotel, breakfast option was okay but everything else was excellent. Very friendly, good atmoshpere in and around pool and eating area. Nice close walk to beach and shops.

Relaxing by the pool
The Grand hotel is a place to stay for the visiters of Forte Dei Marmi who want to relax. The friendly helpful staff will help you to find the perfect pace of life for your stay in no time at all. That pace is one of relaxed and restful. The staff are more than happy to chat the time away or help organize day trips and travel with true Italian cool and charm. The rooms are spacious and fresh - tiled tastefully, uncluttered and cleaned to perfection daily. I spent the first three days happily next to and in the modest but cool pool in the private garden area of the hotel safe in the knowledge that there would be enough sunloungers to go around whether you stayed all day or left for a few hours. The bar was less expensive than the local restuarnts and the breakfast included in the rooms price was fuller than I have experience in other european hotels. All in all The Grand Hotel Forte Die Marmi was a trouble free friendly place that if I was ever in the area again would definatly be my first call. I am keen to hunt out other Blu Hotel’s all through out Italy in the future.

Forte Dei Marmi is a small and beautiful town that has the charm of a small European old town but the designer shopping labels of a major city. Whether it is a restful time by the clean crisp beach or shopping at Prada, Gucci, Marni etc and dinning Forte Dei Marmi will not dissapoint.
