Catch this place before it’s surrounded by new developments..!
The villas are oustide of town (so car more or less essential unless you want to rack up taxi fares) and - for the moment at least - are an oasis of quiet. However it looks as if most of the empty lots in the area are likely to be built upon soon: so things might change. The villas themselves are top quality: all mod cons, and all with private pools. Interior decor is also very attractive. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet & sophisticated break.
Traveller's tip on dining
Take a drive up to El Golfo (about 15 mins N of Playa Blanca) & visit the Costa Azul restuarant right on the beach. There’s no menu - the waiter tells you what’s freshly caught today. Best seafood we had on the whole trip.

Much better than the description suggests
The directions and map on this site won’t help you find these appartments however it is sign posted off the main road heading west out of Playa Blanca and hence is easy to find. The appartments themselves are a couple of miles outside of the town centre towards the western edge of Playa Blanca. There are a couple of English bars and restaurants about 400 yards away otherwise it is in to town. While next to the coast and a nice promenade, there is no beach. You have to go to town for this. There are three room rates presented when you book with no explanation as to what these mean. When I arrived I was told that these refer to the number of bedrooms 2, 3 or 4. We had a 4 bedroom appartment which was very spacious and nice. We had a private pool which is not obvious from the description. I think all the appartments have private pools but can’t swear to it. Furnishing is very nice and cleaners come 5 days a week. A number of nice touches such as the bowl of fresh fruit on arrival and dishwasher tablets that are replaced as you use them.
