Not very good
A budget priced hotel so was not expecting to much,just polite staff and a clean room.I did not get either.I had paid for 2 weeks but only stayed 1 night.

Wish didn’t come, won’t bother again.
I booked the hotel because It promised me that I could ride its van to Canton Fair ( a bussiness trade show). At the moring, the van pickup me up and went to the other V8 hotel. Suddenly, the hotel manager came to us and said because they needed to pick up something, the hotel would pay me 5 chinese yuan to compensate me to take a subway train. I refused, but he just insisted not sending me to the trade show. I took a taxi cost me 110 yuan. In my opinion, the V8 hotel’s business ethic is not acceptable and reliable.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It’s a dumpy hotel but the staff were courteous and friendly and it has a low price. It’s location is convenient, right behind the main train station. It’s about a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride to the front of the station. If your room is on the staiton side you’ll be hearing the trains all night. It’s also within easy walking distance to Yuexie Park and the Orchid Garden. Plenty of public buses to Pearl River near Shamian Island, 2 Yuan. And they don’t have an airport shuttle as stated in your hotel info, but there is an airport bus below the China Southern Airlines main office next to the train staion.
