Armonia cell
The rooms are very basic. the matresses ae thin and hard. the bathroom is tiny, cramped and uncormfortable. the room is stuffy. the location is quiet off the main malia beach road. 15 min walk to the clubbing strip, one minute walk to local shops and restaurants. the breakfast is rubbish. the swimming pool is deserted. the staff are friendly and helpful, but they speak no english.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Find CRETA MOTORS. all the guys at this vehicle rental site are friendly. tell them you were recommended by the two bengladeshi boys from london. its 15 euros per day for the small fast quad. and 30 euro per day for the bigger comfy quad. they have two branches in the area and cater for all different needs. with a wide choice. these prices include the full no excess insurance. prices are always negotiable. enjoy. quad bikes are the best way to get around town.

Holiday from hell
Arrived at the hotel at 2am the owner was asleep behind the counter !! could not speak a word of english !! the room was a mess the toilet was brown and it was suppose to be white ! the walls were paper thin !! I stayed that night and left the next morning ! the hotel was a waste of money and had to pay for new accomadation !

Maid service would have been nice
The room had fridge, and TV (only Greek stations), which were unexpected. We stayed there for over a week, and the maid did not clean the room once; the bin wasn’t emptied; the towels weren’t changed; the bedding wasn’t changed; and by the time we left the floor had a covering of sand. Under the beds evidently never got cleaned, the layer of dust was very thick. There is a nice pool, and the area round it is extremely pleasent although not used. Neither of the bars were in use - and didn’t appear to have been for some time. The hotel is nearer Stalis than Malia.
